Hubby is complaining that i type far too slow, lol. He wants me to go with him to watch football at the foodcourt with him later. He knows i have a few more posts to publish and is willing that i finish before his favorite game starts. Even if i cant finish by the time the match starts, i can always lug my laptop out to the foodcourt and blog as i enjoy a glass of Carlsberg. He can watch his game, and i work on my blogs.

Dear football fans, do you know that Carlsberg recently launched a very interesting football web-TV-channel, www.partofthegame.tv? There are altogether 5 channels showing all aspects about football. You can go check out all the classic football matches there. If you have some football clips, you can also upload to the site for others to enjoy too. Well, go check it out. Cutlery Flatware And Silverware Are Great Gifts

A couple of months back, my mother-in-law dropped the bomb. She asked me to start cooking for the family as she’s getting old. Geee…. that’s one of the scariest thing she’s ever said to me for as long as i’ve lived here. I’m not much of a cook, really. I can only do simple dishes, nothing like what she cooks. Anyway, i told her to give me some time to learn how to cook from her. She cant just ask me to cook and leave everything to me just like that. I’ll most probably give up after a week and end up buying food for our daily meals.

One of the reasons i dont enjoy cooking here is that the kitchen is really messy. She may know where all the things are, b ut certainly not me. I may have to reorganize the whole kitchen before i start my cooking journey. Like start throwing away some old and unused pots and pans. I told her i’ll buy some fine cutlery flatware and silverware as the festive season is drawing near. I would want to have all new things to go with my new venture.

Well, Christmas is only two months away. Have you thought of writing down your shopping and what to buy for your friends and family members? If you havent, you may want to start now. New blogs on the way

October is almost over. Only a few days left to hit my target. I’ve been rather busy planning for my new blogs, mostly niches. Those are just mini site with less than 20 posts each with very targeted keywords. Hopefully, i can launch them by end of this month. After that, the usual round of link building exercise. Lots of work have to go into those new blogs in order to get it up the SERPS. Well, as long as they are in the top 50 results, given time, they will move up. Hopefully, i can relax more by next year.

Are Your Blogs On A Dedicated Server?

Just this month alone, i’ve most part of my blog networks to my very own dedicated server. My webhost told me those blogs have very high traffic and having them on a dedicated server is better in the long run. I agree with him as those are my top performing blogs and i do not want anything to happen to them. There was once one of my blogs experienced a spike in traffic and stopped running. It was on my VPS account then. Thank God i alerted my webhost and he quickly restarted the server for me. During that short few hours of downtime, i’ve lost quite a lot of money.

Apart from having a stable and relaible server, one must also have a good and responsible webhost. When i say responsible, i meant one that will respond to your emails quickly. Mine does. My blogs are now on various types of hosting plans like shared hosting, VPS and like i said earlier, on my own dedicated server too.Yes, i’ve progressed to this stage already. When i first started my blogging journey, i’m only using a free blogger account to blog on. It’s when i realised the full potential of what the internet has to offer in terms of making money online that i went blogging full force.

Well, if you are still blogging on a free blogging platform and would like to do more with your blogs, then i suggest you go get your ver own domain and hosting package. Start with a basic package as you never know how far you’ll go. Once you feel you can handle more blogs, you can then switch to a different hosting package that suits your work. Hopefully, you’ll be able to progress to using your very own dedicated hosting account one day. Me, i’m happy with my hosting packages now. I can have a few more hundred blogs up and i dont have to worry about things like bandwidth exceeded and server downtime problems anymore.

I Love My Wii Fit

My cousin dropped by this morning as she wanted to give the Wii Fit a try. I happily let her have some fun with it. She asked me how many pounds have i lost since i started working out on the Wii Fit. Did i hear her correctly? I didnt buy the Wii Fit just so i can lose some weight, lol. I’m skinny enough. I only want to do Yoga on the Wii Fit.

She’s one very impatient lady and told me she’d rather take a weight loss pill everyday than spend time standing on the Wii Fit and following some virtual fitness trainer. Ya, like i care. If she wants to lose weight the quick way, than by all means go swallow pills everyday. Me, i love my Wii Fit to bits. I really dont need any weight loss pill :p

Buying A Home Theater System This Christmas?

The global economy is getting from bad to worse everyday. I wonder how far will property prices drop. Hubby says to wait a year or two at least. In a way, that’s good. The exchange rate is so favorable now that it’s actually motivating me to blog more. This is the time to save as much money as possible. Hope we can get our own place in 2010.

I asked hubby if it’ll be a good idea to have one of these home theater systems installed in our room or not. He says it’s best to wait till we buy our own house. Our room is so small now and has so many things inside. No point having more wires all over the place. Alright, i’ll live with the LCD TV speakers till then…..
