Happy Happy Happy!!! Happy that one of my balance transfer programs finally ended. No longer have to fork out 600 bucks each month. I still have two more balance transfer programs to endure, amounting to 1.1k each month. One has 14 payments to go, the other 17. Really, this is nothing compared to what i have to pay for the past few years. I practically had to survive on credit cards.Let’s just say credit cards saved my life and my sanity.
In a way, this is one of ways i build a good credit history with the banks. Just last week, i received a new platinum credit card from Standard Chartered, lol. I’ve been upgraded AGAIN!!!! Still havent decided whether to keep the card or not. I have in total 4 platinum credit cards. Sent back many that arrived at my doorstep as i prefer using my classic cards. They have low annual fees compared to Gold and Platinums. The banks usually waive them off provided i use them regularly.
I’ve far too many credit cards and it’s time to cancel off those i dont use. Not a good idea to have such a large opened line of credit. Seldom shop much these days either. I’ve bought most of the items that i NEED. Oh, i have plenty that i WANT, but those can wait till i hit my next projected monthly income target. I’ll reward myself with a cool new gadget. No idea what yet though, lol. Maybe a netbook, a DSLR camera, the Nintendo DSi, the latest Linksys router…..
