Oliefyr

In the blink of an eye, October is here. Soon, winter will be here. With the rising cost of living, i’m sure many of you are looking for ways to save cost especially when it comes to heating up your home. Each time when Winter comes, friends of mine who reside overseas will complain of how much higher their electricity bill is compared to hotter months. I’m lucky to be living here in malcysia where the weather is hot all year round. Yes, we do get lots of rain too. In fact, it’s the rainy season now and the weather is slightly cold, but not to the extent that we need to heat up our homes. A simple sweater or jacket will do to keep me warm.
I was chatting with Jonas earlier and he told me he intends to buy an Oliefyr, a type of Oil Burner. His Grandma has come to live with him and he wants to make sure his house is warm enough this Winter. Just like everyone else, he’s trying to save some money off his electricity bill and it’s fairly common to use oil to heat up houses.
