Sending large image over 3g connection

Much as i love my Nokia N82 and its superb picture quality, i may need to resize the images for flickr-blogging back to 3mp. At full 5mp res, the images are far too large to send over the lousy and slow 3g internet connection. Takes ages as each image is around 1mb in size.

I need to update my blogs on the go and there are not many places with free wifi all the time. In a way, it’s good also. I dont really need such a high res image for blogging purposes. If you have problem sending emails with large attachment over 3g connection, then it may be a good idea to scale the image size down before you send it out.
