My Family’s Most Humorous Vacation

Can you believe it. It’s already Friday here. And it’s been more than five days since my kid’s school break. Well, lets’ just say it’s ending in two days time, and yet, i havent taken him anywhere except maybe to the mall, or back to my mom’s. In a way, this is also partly due to hubby’s busy schedule. He’s been traveling a lot these days and it’s a bit difficult to plan anything in advance. One day, he’ll tell me that he’ll be free the coming weekend. Come weekend, he’ll say he has to sit down and plan something for the following week’s meeting.

In a way, i’m not complaining as i’m also a bit busy with my blogging activities. My kid on the other hand is also happy home with me all day long. but then, i did promise him that Papa will be available end of the year and we will plan a family holiday together. We’ll take him to the beach. The moment he heard we’ll be taking him to the beach, he gave me a big frown. He’s not very fond of water and the beach with its huge waves splashing on the beach at all. I asked him how about Cypress Gardens Florida and he still shook his head. He hinted to me about the Orlando trip which we booked through Trusted Tours & Attractions last year.

Oh yes, i remember that trip oh so well. We had such a great time there. You know, kids….. they cant seem to get bored with Orlando, lol. I remember hubby took them both to visit Kennedy Space Center. According to the what i read from online travel guides, it’s the only place on Earth where we can tour launch areas. He remembered meeting a real Astronaut and ran and hid behind Papa’s back, refusing to look at anything else, lol. But the moment we told him to take a look at those giant rockets, he forgot all about the Astronaut and became fascinated all over again. Kids….
