One of the most important aspect of my work is finding out where my visitors come from. I have many niche blogs where ads are geo targeted. I need to lookup the individual IP Address as see if i have optimized my website well enough. This is important as those ads are only meant for visitors of a specific location. I yield the highest income only when visitors from those targeted areas click on them.

There are many ways where i can actually lookup the Ip Addresses of my visitors. One of them is through my Blog Analytics software. And then, there is my Sitemeter. As i only have the free version, it can only offer me so much. I was just chatting with a blog buddy of mine last night and he told me about this website when i can lookup just about any IP Address that i want. The good thing about it is it’s FREE.

He says he’s been using it to track where his Internet visitors are coming from like from which country, which state, which city, which ISP, which domain name, which connection type and also which ZIP code. It’s called IP2Location™, a geo IP solution to help you to identify visitor’s geographical location according to country, region, city, latitude, longitude, ZIP code, time zone and many more important information without invading Internet user’s privacy.
