As a holder of multiple credit cards, i do have plenty of uses for them. One of the main reasons i use a credit card is because of the ability to perform a 0% balance transfer on my purchases. This way, i can accumulate points on one card, and save on interests for at least 3 months, when i transfer the outstanding amount to the other card. Well, you must be aware of the fact that once the interest-free period is up and you have not paid the amount in full, you will be charged your bank’s normal interest rates on your outstanding balance.

If you are one of those that pays your bill on time and in full, then cash back credit cards are your best friends. Where else can you find someone that pays you back a certain percentage of your spendings? Only cash back credit cards does. So, it really does make sense to apply for different types of cards. Most important thing to remember is as a credit card holder, you are responsible for your own personal finance. Dont spend more than you can repay. Credit cards can be your best friend, or they can be your worst enemy if not used responsibly.
