A friend just blogged about the recent interest rate hike for car loans from one of our local banks. Hubby was just telling me that if i want to buy a car, dont ever buy a local car. Yes, i support him 100%. I have no faith in our local cars at all. If i ever want to buy a car, i’d prefer a car that’s very fuel efficient and which i can sell off quickly without much losses should the need arise. Right now, i’m still driving the old family car. Yes, it’s local car and it takes a lot of money to maintain. And it’s also a petrol guzzler. I’m lucky as i dont have to for the car insurance each year. Not mine, why bother.

As far as auto insurance is concerned, we leave it to our neighbor. He’s an insurance agent and he will renew it for us when it’s due.
