CIMB cheque clearance problem

I just read that CIMB is having MAJOR cheque clearance problems right now. I banked in a foreign cheque amounting to more than USD3k on the 1st of July. It’s already 24th July today and it’s still not cleared yet. My longest wait with CIMB was around 45 days if i’m not wrong. But that was a long time ago.

I tried logging in to their online banking system just now and i keep getting some stupid error message. Now, dont tell me something fishy is going on in there due to our current political scene. You know lah, who’s the big-shot sitting there on the CEO chair hoh. I’m so going over tomorrow and make some noise there. It’s a lot of money, k.
