Someone stole our metal sewage covers

When a country is facing inflation, jobs become scarce and many businesses may have to close shop for good. In turn, crime rate rises and social ills becomes an issue which is getting more and more difficult to tackle. Talking about crime, some creep broke into our backyard and made off with the metal sewage covers. Those metal sewage covers can fetch a good price for those thieves. It’s getting more and more rampant.

I read in the newspaper the other day a family was compensated for the death of one of their family members who died after falling into an uncovered manhole. Damn, people would do anything for money. Even if they know for sure they would endanger someone’s life for their inconsiderate action. Too bad, nothing can be helped. Let’s just hope our stupid authorities will replace all metal manhole covers with concrete ones from now onwards. We have no choice but to do the same now.
