I had to block a few of my MSN contacts. I keep getting messages from them which asks for my login details and password. It’s not the first time i’m seeing these kinds of messages spreading via IM applications. I’m sure many of you would have received lots of messages telling you to view a certain page before, right. It might sound real but let me tell you, it is not. I lost a 10 year old email account this way due to my negligence. I’m lucky that the email account doesnt contain any private and important information like passwords or credit card details. If not, i would have a lot of work to do.

So, if you keep getting weird messages from anyone on your contact list which asks you for your login detail, do tell the sender about it as his/her computer may have been infected with those spywares or trojans. I had to format one of my working pcs as it was infected with some kind of virus recently. I dont know if it sent out messages to anyone on my contact list or not, but i’m so not taking any chances. You need a smart antivirus and spyware removal tool to protect your pc against the latest threats! Dont take chances. Check out the link for a useful one.
