List your blog in a free web directory

I just set up a few new niche blogs and will be working on them a lot for the next couple of months. Setting them up is the easiest part of all. I dont have a problem with content as i can really write. I can post to most of all my new blogs on a daily basis. next, come with promoting them. Some of my friends suggest that i list my new blogs at a free web directory. They told me that listing in a free web directory will help provide my new blogs with the visibility as they are well categorised and enables users to locate them easily. That’s how they get traffic for their new blogs.

Oh, yes, getting traffic is the trickiest part as far as new blogs are concerned. I do have many neglected old blogs that hardly get any traffic at all. I think i may list them together with my new blogs for more exposure. What’s the point of setting up so many new blogs when i dont get readers to come read and comment on them. If there are no readers and no rss subscribers, then my blogs will be worthless.
