I’m cancelling another credit card

I received a letter from one of my credit card issuers telling me my card has been renewed and i can go collect it at the designated bank. Let me tell you this. If not for my friend who works there, i wouldnt bother with signing up for this lousy credit card in the first place. One, they gave me a ridiculously low credit limit. Two, i carried out a balance transfer with them and was awarded some royalty points as per their Terms and Conditions. Then, i found that those points miraculously disappeared from my statement and when i called up to inquire, i was pushed around from department to department until i got fed up.

Lucky for me the balance transfer program was only for a three month program. I’ve not used the credit card ever since their lousy customer service. I have another credit card with rewards which i use regularly and i’ve even redeemed a few great items with all those points that i’ve accumulated over the years. Oh well, i get wiser with each credit card i apply for. What about you? Any credit card woes to share? Isnt it hard to find a good credit card these days?
