Romantic getaway this Valentine’s day

Are you planning for a romantic getaway this Valentine’s day? I havent planned anything yet but hubby hinted to me that he wants to go away for the weekend. I have no problems with that provided he can get someone to keep an eye on our two little ones. He can always ask his mom as my kids are used to her and wont complain much. This year, Valentine’s day is just a few days after Chinese New Year. I dont think we can make it during the first week of Chinese New Year, but even if it’s the week after, as long as i get to go on a vacation without the kids, i will definitely wait.

The weather is usually very hot during this time of the year and i’d love to spend a few days at the beach. How about exotic beach vacations. I heard that the British Virgin Islands has great beaches. I read about that from hotelsbycity dot com that it’s one of the top 10 exotic beach vacation destination. Geee… i’m beginning to think of me sunbathing by the sea as i’m typing this out. I’m going to dig out my favorite bikini and hang it over the dresser. Let it be a reminder to hubby that i’ve not worn it for a long time and it’s time we head to the beach this Valentine’s day. I hope he gets the drift and book us a nice hotel room. There’s no shortage of cheap hotels around and i bet he’ll be able to find one that we’re going to enjoying staying at.
