PQ DVD converted movies doesnt work for my PSP

I installed a movie conversion software called the PQ DVD hoping to convert some of my DVD/VCD movies to a playable format for my PSP. I got them converted alright. Just that i cant view them on my PSP once i got the files transferred over to it. I know it sounds crazy to want to watch movies on the PSP, yeah. It’s actually for my kid. I want to mount it to the back of the driver’s seat to keep them occupied during short trips to the mall or whatever you can think of, okay. Sighh…. time to look for a new software to get that down. Any recommendations. Free ones are best, lol.
