Looking for a business card reader

Today’s a lovely Sunday. There’s nothing much to do and the weather’s is so hot. I took the opportunity to clear out my business cabinet for once. I think i must have accumulated quite a fair amount of junk over the years and if i dont throw some away, i wont be able to know what i’ve stashed in there. I must have over a thousand documents, brochures and business cards in there. I can file away those documents, and throw those old brochures away. But something needs to be done for those business cards. They are very precious to me. I told hubby if i were to key them in one by one into my Outlook Contacts, it’s going to take me a long time. He suggested we buy a business card reader to hasten the process. I can then sync them easily to the PDA and my mobile phone too.

I know Harry is using it and he exclaims how good it is all the time. It’s called the Scan2Contacts, an easy to use and accurate, business card scanning add-on software for Microsoft Outlook ® contacts management. He says the business card reader will scan all his business cards and automatically creates a new contact record for him. Told me how the textual data is extracted using OCR - Optical Character Recognition technology, and inserted to the appropriate contact fields and the image file of the card is attached. Sounds convenient, doest it. It really is. You may want to get one too. I am.
