October 2007 earnings update

It’s time to share with you for the last time, my dear readers, how much i made last month. Most of my earnings comes from writing. I dont sell that many text link ads across my 5 working blogs. Even if this blog doesnt even sell a single link, it’s PR dropped from a 3 to a 2. Dont ask me why and how that happen. I dont care to know nor is it under my control. But even if it drops to a zero overnight, my blogging life goes on and i’m still happy as can be.
I have proven to myself over and over again that i can do anything if i set my heart out to achieve it. And i’m happy to know that i have successfully achieved 5 figure earnings three time in a row. For August, September and now, October. Even though most of my blogs are not highly ranked, i made USD4102 for October. In Malaysia Ringgit, the amount is equivalent to RM13,689.00. I told myself that i have to stop pushing myself so hard once i break the 4k mark. And i owe it to myself to stick to my promise.
Earning from writing alone isnt all that rosy. The figure might be a driving factor, but there is a lot of sacrifice on my part and of course, my family is deprived of my attention too. I dont get to write much during the day as i have two very young children to care for, and they demand a lot of my attention leaving me with not much time to write nor indulge in my hobby or update all my other new blogs. I have to wait till they sleep to start work. I only get a few hours of sleep each night. Couple that with a 15 month old light-sleeper that’s still happily nursing away doesnt make it much easier for me during the night too.
Oh, many would think that this is a ridiculous amount to make, somewhat unbelievable. And no, i’m not posting any screenshots here to prove my earnings. Many of my closest blog buddies are also earning 5 figures through blogging. They understand this as we work together as a team and we keep each other updated with our daily earnings. Without them, i wouldnt have been able to earn this much. And yes, if you are a lone blogger, it’s almost close to impossible to earn this much unless you really blog non-stop 24/7, or if you command a really high price per post, or maybe great with affiliate marketing.
Yes, talking about affiliate marketing, this is going to be the next area that i’m going to explore. I’m more in favor of residual income as i dont believe in working myself to death writing non-stop. It’s really really tiring having mental diarrhea every single day. No joke, it’s all hard work. And oh yes, i enjoy it. Just that i really need to look into other forms of revenue to see what else work for me. To be able to earn from home is the best thing that’s come out of blogging for me. I will keep you peeps updated on more of my online money making ventures later on. And that’s a totally different chapter altogether. Thanks for reading!! I gotta sleep now……..

that’s right samm. i agree with you. i have been there and done that. but for october, i’m getting slower a little bit. i only managed to struggle around USD1,600.
i just want to get relax because bulan puasa and hari raya is more important for me. but, i will be blogging like pig on December.
