How to get more website traffic?

I guess amongst all my blog buddies, i must be the luckiest of the whole lot to have been spared by Google in this recent PR shakeup. Most of my blogs stood up to the smackdown except for my personal blog, which got ranked lower by one notch this time. But it’s alright with me. Compared to all my friends, i really shouldnt be complaining at all. Most of them got demoted by 2 notches too. Instead, i had better take this opportunity presented to me to try and gain more website traffic to all my sites.

I have some Google ads here on my blog and i will earn a bit more if i have more website traffic to it. I do check with my Sitemeter everyday without fail to see where all my traffic is coming from. And i dare say that i am quite pleased that this blog is getting a lot of organic traffic from search engines. But i still feel that there is room for improvement and i hope that i double or even triple my current traffic. I may even get a few extra clicks on some of my ads everyday and make some money that way.
