What i dont like about Consilient free push email

I’ve tested it for two whole days. I didnt kill my Nokia N73’s battery life, but i’d strongly suggest you sign up for an unlimited or at least, a discounted data package. It’s fine. I got my emails in about a minute, at the most two. I wont have a problem if i leave the application opened as i can see the incoming emails at a glance. The notification sound is nice and sharp and i didnt miss it.
But when i leave it running in the background, i wont be able to see any email notification message indicating there’s mail waiting in the inbox. And as i have set the N73’s built-in email client to check for mail every 30 minutes, i cant hear the preset email alert tone once the Consilient sounded first. All i hear is a faint beep from my N73’s email client. Yes, i can always disable it when i’m using the Consilient. And i suggest you do the same if you run Consilient. And it activates the speaker too and emits an irritating hissing noise. Apart from these few annoying things, it’s fine by me. It’s free to begin with. So, better not complain too much. Until i find a different one to try out.

Hi there. I’m with the consilient Push team. I found your review of Consilient Push online and was interested in your feedback on using it with the N73. One question I do have, did you try setting a custom audio notification sound? Consilient Push allows you to choose your own sound using a mp3 file/etc, and I’m wondering if that would have had better results for you.
Thanks for the feedback!
i just tried using emoze. it so far works great with my gmail, and doesn’t kill my battery.
I’m using emoze on my O2 Zinc and it’s great.
