The festive season is fast approaching. Only two and a half months away, and the whole world will be celebrating Christmas and New Year again. Here in Malaysia, Hari Raya falls on this weekend, and all the malls in our country are having their crazy festive season sale everywhere. I was at the shopping mall the other day and i tell you, i cant even find a parking space. Hubby had to drive round and round the mall and we got lucky when one car finally left and we managed to get off the car before it started pouring.
I had a great time checking out all the goods at the mall. I was at the electrical shop as hubby wanted to check out those great sound systems when we overheard a couple quarreling over their purchase. The wife was telling the husband that they cannot afford to buy the Plasma television set but the husband insisted that he will put it on the credit card. The wife reminded him that he still has a lot of outstanding amount on his card and that he has this bad habit of only repaying the minimum amount every month. I didnt hang around long enough to know the outcome of the quarrel, but as a credit card holder myself, i know this guy is in deep financial disaster.
He doesnt know the importance of building a good credit history nor having good credit scores. As a credit card holder, we have to be very disciplined when it comes to card usage and repayment. I always make it a point to pay my credit card bills on time and in full without fail. This is unless the item is on one of those interest-free installment plans. What they guy should have done is carry out a balance transfer to one of his free card to lower his interest and repay the amount in fixed installments. This is one of the best way to repay for people like him. But it looks like he needs to pay a visit to repairmycreditnow.com.
Too bad he doesnt have the knowledge. But if you are concerned on topics like bad credit or credit repair, you can find many informative articles at rmcn.blogs.com. I found that the articles at the site there clearly outlines all there is to know about credit concerns. Dont wait till you are in debt to start scrambling around for articles pertaining to your woes. Equip yourself with the knowledge to prevent falling into debt. And another piece of advice is, leave those credit cards at home if you are an impulsive shopper. And dont carry too much cash with you.
