My HSDPA 3g modem to the rescue

I was lucky i brought along my trusty HSDPA modem with me when i had lunch at Kopitiam Junction yesterday. I needed to log on to do some blog updates. I had about 2 hours to kill and my baby’s asleep. Over a plate of curry chicken beehoon, i logged onto their wifi but cannot access a single site!!! I asked around and everyone seems to be facing the same problem.

I took out my HSDPA modem, plugged it in and VOILA, i’m accessing all my site on Celcom’s 3g with no problems at all and everyone was looking at me wondering how i did that, lol. It was until i was about to leave that the waiter came and told us that Streamyx server to that area was down. Oh, what’s new . I’m really sick of their lousy and unreliable service.That’s the reason why i subscribe to so many other lines to stay connected always.
