I’m pretty pissed at the way the phone shop handled my phone’s warranty claim. They promised i will get it back in a day or two when i sent it in on the 5th. I gave them the weekend. In fact, more than a weekend. My complain was a straightforward one. Get the camera shutter button fixed as it takes ages to focus and i need to press it way past the opening to get a shot. In other words, it’s sunken. Another thing is i wanted it formatted.

Now, i went there yesterday to pick it up and found that apart from servicing the inside, NOTHING was done to what was noted on the warranty claim form, WTF!! The phone shop owner wasnt around to answer my questions and his dumbassed wife gave me equally dumbassed answers. I left. When i called him up to complain, the wife picked up the line and told me he was on leave, NMFL.

I went there again this morning to flak him. Yes, there were customers there at the shop. And if i make more noise, they’ll surely go away. He got on the phone with the service center right away and told them to get it fixed for me PRONTO. From what i gathered, they told me they void my warranty cos they found water stains at the bottom of my phone. Now, this is very common as far as those importers are concerned. Btw, those stains are my baby’s saliva.

My unit was a CSL unit. I dont give a fark care who the hell CSL is. I wasnt even given a report as to what happened and if you were to void someone’s warranty, at least tell them so instead of returning the unit to them. What the hell kind of fucked up service is this, hah. Let them know that it will cost them x amount of money if they wanna get it fixed. Wei, not that i cannot afford it, cilaka.

I get pissed when i cant blog from my phone. That’s the reason why i bought a camera phone in the first place. I told the phone shop outright that he can tell CSL go fly kite if i were to buy the N95 from them. I was meaning to buy it for hubby’s upcoming birthday after i get my phone back. Forget it. I’m going to get a Zitron unit and pay a few more hundred extra if CSL’s service sucks. And they do.

I told the shop owner to let me know how much it cost when my phone’s ready. That, i dont know how long those knnccb’s gonna take. Not that i care anymore also. Maybe by then, i’ll be using a band new unit from a different importer. And they lose a customer. Tiu, i can format my phone myself lah, how difficult can pushing a few buttons be.
