Looking for a driver for my webcam

I’ve lost my webcam driver. I’m now trying to locate one for it. Does it need to be the exact one? If i install a different driver, will it work. I have no idea what brand my webcam is as it was given to me by a friend. And she doesnt have a copy of the driver. Hubby will be traveling soon and he wants to videochat with the kids. Aigh….. if i cant find it by tomorrow, i’m so gonna go buy a new one. Save me the trouble, please. I have better things to do than to spend time hunting for a driver that i dont know its name, cis.
