It’s back. Installation is pretty idiot-proofed and straight forward. Plug-and-play style. But i asked the technician to set it up for me, lol. Though i registered the 3G line with Celcom line last Friday, it’s still not activated. Anyway, i just called the person-in-charged and he’s checking it out for me right away.
.
This Huawei 3g HSDPA modem provides a packet data service of up to 3.6Mbps. That’s more than triple what Streamyx is currently providing its users. For a start i’m getting 1.8Mbps. I can only tell you once my line is activated. I hope it wont take long. Let me finish my post on jewelry first, ya.

rm1049 for the modemÂ
any access fee for the line?
I bought 1 at RM1,400 but still can’t online yet.
Do I need to wait for the line to be activated first?
Yes, you will need to sign up for an unlimited data package to use it. If your existing line has unlimited data, you can try it out with your sim card. I signed up with both Celcom’s and Maxis’ unlimited data. So, i use both with it.
How much did you get the Huawei 3G HSPDA modem for ? Also where did you buy it ? Am looking for one too, but am not sure what brand and where to get one. Appreciate the advice.
