Do you know that even thought the Big Sale sign may be everyday at this time of the year, that does not always translate to more savings if you are not careful of the way you shop. Bargains are everywhere, but can you spot the good ones and the bad ones? Here are just 3 that can help you a wiser shopper:
1) When shopping for pricey items that’s more than 1k, compare them with at least 3 reputable retailers. Dont forget to check with the manufacturer’s website for a more accurate price. If three outlets are selling the item with just a slight difference, then go ahead and buy from the outlet of your choice.
2) Dont bother comparing the item that you want from the same mall or even geographic location . This is especially true for items that carries a big price tag. For best results, check them from disparate locations, and also make sure the outlets are not chain outlets from the same parent company. Take your time and get some help if possible.
3) Forget about new products entirely; even if thy are running a promotion that offers you for example a 10% discount or package deal. They are most likely still expensive. Go for the previous model but make sure the features are almost the same. You’ll get a better bargain. This is especially true for gadgets and electronic toys.
