I had to send a parcel yesterday. As usual i had to wait till the kids were asleep first. It’s some nutritional products that Gary ordered over the weekend and he needs them by this week. When i reached the post office, i saw a huge crowd right in front of it. I thought, “Oh my god….. so many people until they spew out onto the streets? It’s gonna be a long wait and i hope my kids wont wake up and find me missing….”. Thank god i left my baby to sleep down on the floor. At least i dont have to worry that he might fall off the bed.

Once i got down from the car, i learned that our dear neighborhood’s post office was broken into. Nothing much was stolen, except for a few postal scales. What the heck were those burglars thinking of stealing postal scales. Those things are so big and heavy. How on the world did they cart off such a large item, lol. Anyway, the postmaster told us not to worry and that the main branch will be sending over a few new postal scales in an hours time and operation will resume as usual. What a relief. I thought i wont get to send my parcel, lol.
