Living in retirement communities

We just got back from a trip and boy…. i’ve never felt so good in a long time. We took the opportunity to visit my uncle and aunt whom i’ve not met for a long time. They’ve just moved to a new house and we’ve not seen them for a long time. It’s a beautiful place with lush lawn, pretty flowers on the garden and fresh air all day long. Unlike the city, where you only breathe in smog and haze. That’s really not good fro health in the long run.
Yes, i do agree that city living is fun, with so much excitement and shopping malls to hangout. But, after a while, it gets boring. Too much of everything can be a tad overwhelming after a while, isnt it? So, i guess that’s one of the reasons why my uncle chose to move to far away from the city. He found this ideal location after going through many retirement communities that’s widely available these days.
I think when i’ve had enough of city-living, i’ll do the same too. I prefer to live in a small and quiet neighborhood , where everyone greet each other with their first name. And this will never happen in a city, lol. Everybody’s busy trying to make ends meet to even bother with making friends. One day, when the kids are married and have their own family, i’ll check out those retirement communities for my dream house.
