The Olympus 770SW is still pricey

The price of the Olympus 770SW still stands at Rm1599 when i went to the camera shop the other day. Gordon is getting better at handling the camera and i thought of getting him this. He loves taking pics of his own feet, the tv and his toys. His focusing is getting better, but then, i still dont want to risk the chance of him dropping my Sony Cyber-shot T100 onto the floor.

I know i can get him the lower priced Olympus 725SW, but the screen is still not tough enough for a kid to handle. The LCD screen is all that matters for a digital camera. I want a digital camera that i can fully let him handle on his own without me worrying too much at all. I’m still hoping the price of this new Olympus 770SW will drop down to say Rm1200. Sigh…. end of this year maybe?
