I’ve been shopping with my credit card lately and loving every moment. I dont have bad repayment habits, but many of my friends like to pay only the minimum amount and end up with lots of outstanding amount. This way, they accumulate lots of interests and the final cost of their purchases are very much higher by the time they pay up the amount in full. That will most likely be months later.

I used to be like that too until i found out that i have to fork out so much. Nowadays, i dont even wait for the statement to arrive but make my repayment via interbank Giro transfer as soon as i get back. I save a lot of money this way and dont have to carry much cash around with me at all times. It’s much safer too.
