Are Kenmore Refrigerators good?

I saw a few packages lying near the garbage bin and found that those were our refrigerator items. I don’t think i need to ask around to guess that those were spoiled food again. I heard my MIL grumbling to my FIL this morning that the refrigerator has conked out for the second time this month and that she don’t want to fix it anymore. She wants to buy a new one to replace it.

Should i tell her to get one of those Kenmore Refrigerators this time. I saw a friend using one and she says that it’s very good. She’s had hers for years and it did not break down once, unlike ours. The repairman charges her a good 100 bucks per visit. And she’s been calling him a few times in a single year. That’s a lot to pay. Time we really get a new one.
