I was out with a girlfriend for tea one day. We met an old friend of mine and he joined us for a short chat and drink. As he had to go off soon, he asked for the bill and paid for us too. What a gentleman. My girlfriend was immediately impressed. The moment he left, she pounced on me for details about this guy. She told me he must be very rich.

I asked her how can she tell and she said that she saw that his wallet is full of credit cards. Therefore, he must be rich, lol…. wtf. She’s really naive. What she didnt know is that my friend is a bankrupt. He paid by cash just now,but all she saw were his credit cards. Those cards must have been his during his pre-bankrupt days which he still kept to fool naive sweet young things like my friend.

She’s too young to understand all this. But i told her anyway. She has to know that all that glitters is not gold. If i were to show her my purse, i think she’s gonna freak out. I have so many credit cards, but does that mean that i’m rich? The money belongs to the bank larrr, frennnnn…. use ledi have to pay wannnn…… think what??? My father owns bank negara issit???
