Another pre-approved check for me

I received another one of those pre-approved checks from another of my credit cards issuing banks today. The amount is the same as the previous one, which i did not cash in. A cool Rm2k for a mere handling fee of 3.88% only. That will translate to a one-off charge of Rm77.60. And i get to repay it in 6 installments; that IF i decide to cash it in.

Monthly repayment is only Rm333.33/month. But i dont have use for it. Why in the world would i want to pay them Rm77.60…. cis. If i need the cash, then it’s a good deal as the interest charged is way lower than whet you’d get if you were to make a cash withdrawal from the ATM. A cash advance fee of 5% applies to that, and normal interest rate of 1.5%/month too. That’s lot of interest to pay, you know. So, i shall just let it rot on my drawer top for the time being. Offer’s good for 2months :)
