Size of LCD tv for bedroom viewing

Do you think that a 40″ LCD tv is a bit too big to have inside the bedroom. I was thinking of buying one for gaming. I want to play the WII-nintendo and Playstation 3 on it. I saw a Samsung model that’s optimised for gaming. Has a contrast ratio of 8000:1. It’s supposed to be one of the best in the market right now with a reasonable price tag too.

I was eyeing the 32″ earlier, but hubby says the 40″ would be better if i intend to play games on it. Can also hook the pc up to it for blogging if i want to. Naw, i wont hook the pc to it. I’ll most likely hook the notebook to it and let my kid have the pc instead. So, what shall i buy? 40″or 32″?? What’s the ideal size of a LCD tv for bedroom viewing? My bedroom is not big. Only 10′ x 12′, lol.
