Agile Messenger on Nokia E65

My friend bought the Nokia E65 recently. It’s a wonderful phone to use and own. It comes in a nice RED that i’m so-dying for also. But then the only setback is that it only has one-way video call. This is what’s stopping me from buying it for hubby as i want the kids to be able to see him when he’s away. Just why cant they make the E65 a two-way video phone is beyond me. Maybe they are scared that executives will use it as an office spytool, lol.
Anyway, back to the E65. My friend somehow got to know that i am able to MSN-chat with her using Agile Messenger and she got excited. I told how to download it to her phone and she got it done. I even told her how to get her GPRS settings by calling Maxis and she got that done also. Somehow, she kept telling me that she’s not able to use Agile Messenger. Keep getting a connection error.
I dropped by her place this afternoon and finally got things sorted out for her. Apparently, Maxis set her connection settings to 3G by default. Weiiii…. Ipoh where got 3G lah, niamah. So, i reset everything for her and voila…. she can now chat on MSN using Agile Messenger. She’s more than happy now, lol. I even downloaded the Gmail email application and Opera Mini for her to surf the net with. That’s what friends are for ![]()
