Part and parcel of my work as an interior designer is to help my customers move to a different place in order for remodelling work to commence. Moving is easy, but helping them pack up is really time-consuming. There was once i had this old lady who refused to let me help her wrap her porcelain figurines in bubble wrap for her. She insisted that they be packed sidfe by side in a small box with newspaper!!! Needless to say, they broke and the old lady was heart-broken as those were her prized possessions.

Apart from helping my clents pack up, i help them call up truck rental services companies to help move their things to a different place. I always insist that they organise and pack their things up in moving boxe which i supply them with. These boxes are bought from a moving box store. which comes in various sizes for easy packing. It’s much easier when it’s time to move them back once their house’s remodelling work has completed.
