My old Epson printer lasted me at least a good 5 years before started giving me problems. And i’ve always been very careful of cleaning the printer, using original printing media yadda, yadda, yadda. In all, Epson printers have brilliant printouts. I’ll vouch for that.

I switched to Canon on my next printer, but after a while, it conked out. No more Canons for me. I bought another Epson printer to replce the Canon. It conked out two years later despite my regular maintainance last year. So, my current Epson was bought on the 21st April 2006. It’s those all-in-ones.

The scanner has a permamnent grey stripe on one side of the scan. I’ve tried all methods but too bad. I think it’s time ireplace it with a newer model. They no longer last. The problem arose about two months ago if i’m not wrong. Not even a year old from the time i bought it. Sighhhhhh………. what shall i buy next? Time to scour the reviews sections again.
