My second uncle owns an old-fashioned small hardware store. He just turned 55 last month. Now that all my cousins have grown up and are working, he wants to sell his business off and retire. His children are all in the States now and have asked him to move over there with their mom.

He came over and asked me if Asheville would be a good place to live or not. I told him since all his children are living there and they’ve asked them to move over, why not. Just close down the business, sell off the house, pack their bags and go. Just go. Take a break, enjoy life for a change. They worked so long.

Drew, my cousin sent him some brochures on a few Asheville homes and asked him which one he likes. See, that’s filial piety. He’s going to buy my uncle a new home so that they can live comfortably there. Asheville has a high quality of life at reasonable prices. Its downtown is very European with and active night life, shopping, and even food markets. I know my uncle will love it there.
