Tips on viewing showhouses

I have this to add when viewing show houses. Developers are very smart these days. They know that beautifully done-up showhouses are the key to a successful prject launching. So, when i was viewing a few the other day, I can say that the interior designers have done quite a good job and with very well planned interior layouts and also some very fresh ideas too. Sometimes, too loud in fact.
But i also noticed something. Showhouses are also for sale, and the developers will sell these at a higher price too to cover for the interior design cost. I’m also an interior designer myself prior to becoming a fulltime blogger. Although the design may appeal to the mass public viewers, it’s definitely not my cup of tea. If you take a closer look at those home furniture on display, they are actually of rather low quality. Certainly not worth the asking price at all.
Remember for a fact that you wont get the house for another two years time. Can you imagine what those furniture will be like by then? And i can only sneer at the workmanship of those built-ins. In my honest opinion. showhouses are simply not worth the asking price at all unless it’s the land area that you’re really interested in. You’re better off buying a vacant unit and doing your own furnishing. Moreover, it’s more fun. Dont you agree with me?
