Disparity in pricing for Nokia N73 Music edition

I was at Parkson Grand again this noon. At the Tea Gallery, i took my phone out and snapped some pics. The salesgirl there liked my phone very much and enquired about the price. I told her i bought mine for RM1680, inclusive of a 2Gb. She was surprised as most of the phone vendors at Parkson are asking around Rm2200+ for this model, NokiaN73 music edition.
From what i understand, there are a few different importers for Nokia phones. But with the difference in price, i can almost buy an extra phone, lol. Moreover, they all offer a one-year warranty period only. So, why do i care which importer i buy from as long as they are all genuine ones.
Mobile phones are already a fashion statement, with users changing theirs almost two to three time a year. So, the lower i pay for my phone, i wont really feel the pinch when i have to change mine later. I dont think i need to guess where she’ll be buying her phone from ![]()
