5xmom tagged me this. Want’s to know what music i listen to the year i turned 18 woh..
It’s supposed to work like this:
1) Hop over to PopCulture site
2) Pick the year you turned 18
3) Get yourself nostalgic over the songs
4) Mesmerize over those songs, write something about it.
5) Pass it on to five more friends.
6) Wait, there’s a catch to it. Do not delete the links of the five person you tagged. Let the list grow bigger and bigger. Meaning, 5+5+5 until someone killed it.
Here’s mine for your reading pleasure:
It’s already towards the end of the 80’s….. 1989 to be exact. Madonna made headlines that year when her music video “Like a Prayer”, attracted controversy for its use of Catholic iconography and for the use of cross burning imagery. Pepsi dropped Madonna as a spokesperson out of fear the video will cause religious groups to boycott the company.

The most memorable thing about that year’s music to me was Richard Marx’s “Right Here Waiting”. Got me scrambling all over the place searching for that music piece to play on my piano. I’ve never actually enjoyed sitting at the piano until then. Now, looking back, i miss my piano. Cant wait till the day i get my own place. I’ll get me a nice baby grand. Havent touched a piano in more than a decade. Wonder id i can still do my scales, lol.
