Financial education starts from young

When i was a kid, whenever i wanted something and asked my parents for it, they’ll always say no. Even though i know they can afford it, they still say no. I was given a small weekly allowance. And in order to get what i want, i have to save up for it. And it does take a long time to finally buy it. After all that waiting, i appreciate owning it even more.
I didnt understand it all until now. I used to think my parents were mean and stingy. But, they’ve taught me a lesson somehow. Nowadays, times are better, i see parents giving in to their childrens’ demands so easily. Me, i’ll never do that. They’ve got to learn how to save up for it. It’s good for them to learn that money do not grow on trees. It’s good for themto learn how to manage their own finance from young so that they will grow up to be a more responsible person in money matters..
