Costly to email pics at full-res to blogs via Flickr

I was happily uploading photos taken with my N73 to Flickr when it suddenly dawned on me. As all my pics are taken in full-res 3.2Mp setting, they’re like 500kb+ - 700kb+ in size each. I’ve set my Flickr accounts so that i can email straight to my blogs through it. Never gotten round to using Flickr previously as my old phone takes lousy grainy pics.
Then only i realised that it costs me around Rm5+/email from Flickr to blog. I’ve never really given it much thought until i checked my phone’s log on packet data usage. I’ve since sent 11.9Mb of data and received 34.76Mb. At Rm0.01/kb charged by Maxis, that translate to nearly Rm50 up till now
Looks like i either have to reduce the camera’s resolution, or switch to a different data package. I’d most probably do the latter as i prefer them in full-res. What’s the point of taking low-res pics unless i’m sending MMS which have limited filsize for sending. I have two choices of data packages. Either i pay Rm25 subscription for a flat rate of Rm0.005/kb or Rm120 for unlimited usage. Well, i’ll have to see how much i use in a single month first. Then i’ll know which package suits me better.
