Price of Sony Cyber-shot T100 in Malaysia

I checked out the Sony Cyber-shot T100 at Ipoh Parkson today. Current retail price stands at Rm1699 for the body only. For a 8.1Mp camera with built-in 31Mb of memory, you still need to buy a memory stick to store your hi-res pictures and movies. That will set you back at least Rmm100+ for a 1gb memory stick. It also doesnt come with a casing. If you dont already own one, be prepared to fork out another Rm100+ for it. But, it’s a great point and shoot camera and fashionable too. Most important thing is it delivers great shots.

I’ve estimated that for a good overall starter package with all the required accessories, i’ll have to pay about Rm2000 - Rm2100 for it. It’s not cheap. At least this model did without the touch-screen thing. I wanted to buy the previous model but i hate to see fingerprints all over the screen and it does leave a lot of it behind. And i also dont like having icons all over the screen as i view my pics and videos. What’s the point of having such a nice big screen when it’s so cluttered. I’m still checking out other models as they hit the stores.
