Sony Vaio C

I checked out the Sony Vaio C with Windows Vista today. At Rm4988, this Intel® Coreâ„¢2 Duo Processor T5500 (1.66GHz) 13.3″ screen colorful baby weighs 2.3kg. An important point to note when buying notebooks is the battery life. For this Vaio C, battery life only lasts about 1hr plus. An additional battery pack costs Rm1.5k for slightly longer lifespan compared to the one bundled with the machine. Definitely not enough to even watch a decenty movie on the move.
I’m not bothered with the specifications as i only use it for blogging purposes. All bundled software will suffice so to speak. From entertainment, surfing to photo editing, it’s all available. For this price, the Sony lacks a few features like built-in viewcam and rather lame speakers, Accesories are also quite costly. Imagine having to pay over Rm170 for an optical mouse in matching color. Isnt it ludicrous?
Well, it’s apparent that this trendy notebook is targetted at young first-time buyers. With so many new models flooding the market this quarter, guess I’ll have lots of new notebooks to check out later.
