Report spam SMS to MCMC

I no longer check my sms when my phone beeps these days. Most of them are spam SMS-es, services i’ve never signed up nor requested for. I dont mind getting SMS-es from my service provider or my favourite store as i know they have something interesting for me. But half the time, that’s not the case.
Some of my friends have even been billed for services they’ve not signed up for nor heard of. I’m lucky i did not get billed for any of these spam SMS-es. But if you do get billed for those, you can report them to MCMC.
KUALA LUMPUR: If you receive unsolicited spam SMS and get billed for it, report to the Malaysian Multimedia and Communication Commission, your telephone company and the content provider. MCMC corporate communications head Adelina Iskandar said the commission knew of cases where mobile phone users were charged for unsolicited spam SMS.
