It’s already a fact that bloggers writing paid posts on free-hosted platforms are getting side-lined for many opportunities. This is simply because advertisers do not want to risk their good money paying for links that will not be there should that blog get banned one day. Many have registered for their own domain but as usual, there are still many who do not want to for reasons known only for themselves.

A blogger whom i met the other day asked me for my opinion. I’ve explained to her all the consequences but she’s still reluctant to get her own domain. According to her, she still havent made a single cent from writing paid posts and is still pending her blogger blog’s approval. Gimme a break. If you are serious in making a decent income through your blog, then at least go fork out some money and get your own domain. Not that she doesnt have it.

Take for example, PayPerPost. Even if you have a new blog, you still need to update that blog regularly before you can submit it for approval. Unless you transfer your current blog to that new domain and notify PPP about it. Still, that takes time. And time is money. So, i urge those serious in writing paid posts to seriously consider getting your own domains fast. Many other networks have stopped accepting free-hosted blogs. Those opps are getting lesser and lesser by the day.
