Keep that credit card at home when you shop

I’m sure there are still many last-minute shoppers out there grabbing at anything that catches their eyes. One way to curb that feeling is to leave your credit card at home. When you have one in your wallet or purse, you’ll only be tempted to spend and buy more. Especially items on those installment schemes. Use cash whenever possible.
Even though you may think that you’re only paying a small amount each month, sometimes, that’s not the reason to keep buying. You may lose track of your spending and end up with a few of these schemes on hand to repay later. A few hundred here, a few hundred there; it all adds up. The worst is when you are still paying for an item that has out-lived its novelty stage. Items like expensive fashionable sunglasses and designer handbags.
These things go out-of-fashion very fast. And even before you have finished paying for it, you may have signed up for another similar purchase. And your debt increases. Do remember that Festive Season is more of a time to relax and bond with family members over some good food. Dont fall prey to spending the next 11 months paying off what you’ve bought. Makes sense, doesnt it?

Dunot apply for a Credit card if u hav no control over ur spendings. Why own one in the first place ?
It creates more trouble later on.
Depends on how you look at it. Credit cards are good for emergency cases. So, it’s good to keep one at hand. At the same time, one has to learn to be responsible for thier own spending.Â
