Reward your people

One of business’ most invaluable lessons i have learnt is to reward your people handsomely. Moreover, it is them who bring in sales and revenue for your company. Without them, how much can one do? Another important thing is to listen to them. Being the one who face the customers, i’m sure they have a lot to share.
Today, as employers, we must step down from our pedestal and mingle with our employees. Organise more interactive group discussions to maximise their potential. Incentives like trips for high achievers are just one of the ways we reward the people who work for us.
This year, my company will be organising a Jamaica all inclusive resort vacation for our high achievers. We’ve never been to the Carribean before. I’m sure my people will be more productive after a vacation to this place, known for reggae, rum, and red sunsets. It’s simply a magical allure of tropical paradise. They will return refreshed, ready for their next assignment once again.
