This is what i learnt when i enquired on how to to downgrade from a premier account to personal account at PayPal. Though i’m a verified account holder, i wanted to know what if one day i no longer want to use a premier account as i dont do online business. Moreover, premier account holders do incur quite a fair bit of charges when receiving funds. And this is what i found out.

With a Personal account, you will no longer be able to receive unlimited credit card funded payments. (You can only receive a maximum of 5 credit/debit card payments) You are only permitted to downgrade from a Business/Premier account to a Personal account one time. If you would like to upgrade your account to a Business/Premier account in the future, it will remain a Business/Premier account for the lifetime of the account.

Well, that’s interesting. Now, this got me thinking about starting a webstore selling my organic and health supplements products.
